Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter videogame, the third title in the Max Payne series. Set to be released in May, 2012, it is being developed primarily by Rockstar Vancouver and will be published by Rockstar Games for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The story of the game begins 12 years after Max between 2, so Max is older and more violent, and his life is more exhausted in the events of this game than his previous life.  After Max left the New York police, Max took several careers in state security and consulting.  But in this part, he is asked to provide complete personal protection for a wealthy family in the city of São Paulo in Brazil (one of the most dangerous and most criminal cities in the world) and finds that gangs and mafias are still a problem for him at every step and finds himself drawn to the heart of the brutal world in a city  São Paulo.
