As the Gutians assault the temple, a solar eclipse occurs and unknown creatures begin slaughtering both armies. Two survivors, Akkadian general Balathu and Gutian soldier Kurum, flee into the temple catacombs to escape the creatures but are quickly overwhelmed and presumably killed.
